Reminder - Minister Van Loan Promotes Canada’s Ambitious Free Trade Agenda
Marking the success of NAFTA
(No. A/62 - April 9, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will be the keynote speaker at the NAFTA conference, Wealth Creation Through Free Trade and Entrepreneurship, on Monday, April 12, 2010.
Minister Van Loan will discuss Canada’s economic success since the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
He will highlight the government’s ambitious free trade agenda, including Canada’s success in achieving a waiver of the U.S. infrastructure program’s “Buy American” provisions. The Government of Canada’s agenda aims to expand markets and create jobs and growth to benefit Canadian businesses and workers.
