International Trade Minister Peter Van Loan to Promote Canada’s Economic Strengths in Florida

Canadian and U.S. business leaders to hear about future of Canada-U.S. partnership

(No. A/3 - January 12, 2011) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will visit Orlando, Florida, from January 13 to 14, 2011.

During his visit, Minister Van Loan will meet with the newly elected Florida governor, Rick Scott, to discuss Canada’s ongoing trade ties with Florida. Minister Van Loan will also highlight Canadian expertise in the construction and energy sectors. He will open the Canadian Pavilion at the International Builders’ Show and promote Canada’s economic strengths to the business community in Florida.
