Reminder - World’s Financial Capital Focused on Canada

International Trade Minister Peter Van Loan promotes competitive advantages, free trade and investment on official visit to New York City

(No. A/9 – February 2, 2011) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will launch the first “Focus on Canada” conference during his visit to New York City February 3 and 4, 2011, where he will promote Canada as a low-tax destination for investment.

The conference will bring together Canadian, U.S. and international business leaders from a range of sectors to talk about Canada’s economic success story and encourage investment, growth and job creation in Canada.

The following events will be open to the media.
