Reminder - International Trade Minister Peter Van Loan to Promote Canada’s Free Trade Negotiations with European Union and Highlight Importance of Canada-U.S. Trade
Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade to hear benefits of Canada’s ambitious free trade agenda
(No. A/23 - March 17, 2011) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will meet with the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade on Friday, March 18, 2011. Minister Van Loan will outline Canada’s ambitious free trade agenda, highlight the benefits of a trade agreement with the European Union and discuss Canada-U.S. trade relations.
Minister Van Loan will seek the input of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade on how to move Canada further along the path toward economic recovery. Following the discussion, the Minister will be available to media representatives.
