Modification - International Trade Minister Ed Fast to Deliver Keynote Address at Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s International Trade Day

Modification: Correction to the telephone number

(No. A/30 - Modification - June 1, 2011) The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will launch the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 International Trade Day with a keynote address, his first as Canada’s Minister of International Trade.

Minister Fast will reiterate the Harper government’s strong commitment to protecting and strengthening the long-term financial security of hard-working Canadians by deepening and broadening Canada’s trading relationships.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada will also, at tomorrow’s event, release its annual State of Trade publication, which provides an overview of Canada’s trading performance over the past year.
