Reminder - International Trade Minister Fast to Discuss Canada’s Trade and Investment in the Asia-Pacific Region
(No. A/47 - July 12, 2011) The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will meet with key Chinese-Canadian business leaders for a round-table discussion on Canada’s free trade and investment agenda in the Asia-Pacific region. The discussion will take place in Vancouver on Wednesday, July 13, 2011.
Canada has strong ties with the Asia-Pacific region and engagement with Asia is important to Canada’s future prosperity and growth. Minister Fast will discuss the many opportunities in the region for Canadian workers and businesses.
