Reminder - Minister Fast to Visit Optilume Engineered Light Corporation to Discuss Benefits of Recent Trade Mission to Brazil

(No. A/53 – August 2, 2011) The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will visit the Edmonton facility of Optilume Engineered Light Corporation in Edmonton on August 3, 2011. Minister Fast will be joined by the Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for Status of Women.

During the visit, Minister Fast and Minister Ambrose will tour the facility and meet with Optilume employees and management to discuss the ways international trade helps create jobs for Canadian workers and reinforces economic prosperity in Canada.

Optilume took part in the June trade mission Minister Fast led to Brazil to explore business opportunities and open new markets for Canadian businesses.
