Reminder - International Trade Minister Fast to Address Canada-U.S. Manufacturers and Exporters

(No. A/68 - September 11, 2011) The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will address Canadian and U.S. manufacturers and exporters at the Canada-U.S. Manufacturing Summit: Future of Manufacturing in North America—Our Common Cause on September 12, 2011, in Montreal. The event is hosted by Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters.

Minister Fast will discuss the Government of Canada’s ambitious trade plan, which includes a commitment to securing and deepening access to traditional markets, like the United States, and broadening and expanding access to more markets around the world to support Canada’s manufacturing sector.

After the speech, the Minister will hold a photo opportunity and be available for one-on-one interviews.
