Reminder - International Trade Minister Fast to Discuss Canada’s Trade Plan with PEI Growers, Producers and Exporters

(No. A/71 - September 14, 2011) The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will meet with growers, producers and exporters from Prince Edward Island for a round-table discussion on Thursday, September 15, 2011, in Summerside, PEI.

Agricultural products account for most of the island’s exports. Minister Fast will discuss the Harper government’s ambitious trade plan and how it will benefit Canadian businesses, and workers and their families, particularly throughout the island’s export supply chain.

Following the round table, the Minister will hold a photo opportunity and will be available for one-on-one interviews.
