Reminder - Minister of State for Finance Ted Menzies to Make Important Education Announcement

(No. A/81 - October 12, 2011) The Honourable Ted Menzies, Minister of State (Finance), on behalf of the Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, and the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will make an important announcement at Algonquin College in Ottawa on October 13, 2011.

The announcement will concern the Government of Canada’s strategy to further enhance Canada’s reputation as a country of choice for study and conducting world-class research, to strengthen ties between Canadian and international education institutions, and to expand people-to-people ties in priority markets around the world.

Following the announcement, Minister of State Menzies will hold a brief media availability.
