Reminder - International Trade Minister Ed Fast to Visit Washington, D.C., to Make Important Announcement

January 20, 2012 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will make an official visit to Washington, D.C., on January 23, 2012.

Minister Fast will meet his counterpart, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, to discuss and officially mark progress made on securing access for Canadian exporters to key U.S. markets, which creates jobs and prosperity for workers and their families on both sides of the shared border.

Following his meeting with U.S. Trade Representative Kirk, Minister Fast will make an important announcement and take questions from media.
