International Trade Minister Ed Fast to Meet with Global Counterparts at Senior-Level Trade and Economic Meetings in France

Minister Fast to attend Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and World Trade Organization meetings

May 21, 2012 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will travel to Paris from May 22 to 24, 2012, where he will attend the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Ministerial Council Meeting, along with heads of state and ministers from around the world.

Minister Fast will also reaffirm Canada’s commitment to free and open trade, and highlight the most ambitious trade expansion plan in Canada’s history, at an informal meeting of the World Trade Organization.
