Minister Fast to Applaud Achievements of Women Business Leaders

June 1, 2012 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will be the keynote speaker at Celebrating Women in Business in Vancouver on Friday, June 1, 2012. This event will honour key businesswomen for their contributions in the areas of global growth, community and charitable giving, as well as the recipient of the Next Generation Award, given out by the Vancouver chapter of the Women Presidents’ Organization.

Minister Fast will present a global trade award, speak to the significant role Canadian women play in international trade and in the economy, and release the 2012 edition of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada’s Business Women in International Trade newsletter.
