Reminder - Minister Fast to Make Announcement Related to Canada-Burma Trade Ties
July 24, 2012 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will make an announcement related to the deepening of Canada-Burma trade relations on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
Minister Fast will highlight the government’s steps to protect and strengthen the financial security of hard-working Canadians and their families by deepening our trading relationships in dynamic and fast-growing markets like Burma.
The announcement will follow a round-table meeting, co-hosted by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and the law firm Heenan Blaikie, to discuss new opportunities in Burma for Canadian companies.
