Reminder - Minister Fast to Make Announcement on Canada-Africa Trade Relations

October 15, 2012 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will mark the 10th anniversary of the Canadian Council on Africa and make an announcement building on Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s recent visit to Africa.

Minister Fast will outline Africa’s role in the most ambitious trade expansion plan in Canadian history, how Canadian companies can benefit in various fast-growing economies in Africa and the importance of Canada’s deepening relationship with Africa.
