Reminder - Harper Government to Highlight European Demand for Iconic Canadian Brands and Products

November 12, 2012 - Throughout the week beginning November 13, 2012, Harper government ministers and members of Parliament will meet with the business owners, workers and industry stakeholders who bring us some of Canada’s most renowned and iconic brands and products to highlight how a free trade agreement with the European Union will help boost Canadian exports.

On November 16, the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Labour, will visit Tilley Endurables, makers of the famous Tilley hat, to highlight this iconic Canadian brand as one of many Ontario exports that will benefit from an ambitious Canada-EU trade agreement.
