Reminder - International Trade Minister Ed Fast to Highlight Strong Canada-Brazil Education Ties

December 14, 2012 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, and Don McRae, British Columbia’s Minister of Education, will visit Abbotsford Senior Secondary School in Abbotsford, B.C., to meet with some of the 410 students from Brazil who are currently studying in Canadian schools.

Minister Fast will emphasize the positive economic impact international students have on Canada and the strong people-to-people ties Canadians can build by welcoming international students into their communities.

Following his speech, Minister Fast will be available to take questions from the media.
