Reminder - International Trade Minister Ed Fast to Discuss Energy Trade with Asia in Vancouver

April 2, 2013 - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will give the keynote address, on April 3, 2013, at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada’s 2013 Pacific Energy Summit. The Honourable Alice Wong, Minister of State (Seniors), will also attend.

Speaking to an audience of energy-sector experts from Canada, the United States and Asia, Minister Fast will emphasize the Harper government’s focus on supporting jobs, economic growth and long-term prosperity for Canadian workers and families by increasing trade ties with fast-growing Asian markets.

Following the speech, Minister Fast and Minister of State Wong will hold a brief media availability.
