Minister Fast Travels to the Region Hit by Devastating Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan

The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway; Jonathan Fried, Canada’s Ambassador to Japan; and Yasuo Aramoto, President of Selco Homes, place flowers at the Tominushihime shrine in Natori City, Japan, in memory of the victims of March 11 disaster. Minister Fast also takes a message of hope to the Shiogama Kindergarten Catholic School in memory of the children’s teacher, Father André Lachapelle, the only Canadian to die during the earthquake and tsunami.
