November 8, 2011 - Pune, India - On day six of his week-long trade mission to India, the Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, travelled to Pune, an engineering hub, where he visited the aerospace and railway operations of TAL Manufacturing Solutions Ltd., a high-end Indian engineering and manufacturing company.
During his visit, the Minister talked about Canada’s manufacturing industry and highlighted Canada’s strengths as a technologically advanced nation. He also promoted Canada as a trade and investment partner of choice for Indian businesses and signalled the Government of Canada’s commitment to increasing business links between Canada and India.
TAL Manufacturing Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd. For more than 40 years, TAL has designed and built machine tools, material handling systems, test rigs, painting systems, assembly and process lines, robotic welding solutions, fixtures and tooling, and fluid power solutions for a wide range of industrial applications, as well as integrating them to deliver complete manufacturing solutions.
