Offical Visits of The Honourable Diane Ablonczy

  • Minister Ablonczy Travels to Costa Rica and Panama

    The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs), will make her official visit to Costa Rica on March 15 and then travel to Panama where she will meet key allies as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to deepen Canada’s engagement in the Americas from March 16 to 17, 2013.

  • Minister Ablonczy Travels to Asia

    The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs), travels to Asia from January 19 to 26, 2013 where she will meet with local officials and Canadians living and travelling in key Asian travel destinations. The visit, which will include time in New Delhi, Bangkok and Hong Kong, will provide an important opportunity for Canada to strengthen cooperation in consular matters and share best practices.

  • Minister Ablonczy Travels to Mexico, Peru and Guatemala

    Minister Ablonczy, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs) is accompanying Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston on a working visit to Mexico, from November 30 to December 2; an official visit to Peru, from December 2 to 5, and a State visit to Guatemala, from December 5 to 7, 2012.

    The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs), tours Canada from July 18 to August 3 to reach out to Canadians to raise awareness of the various services the government provides to Canadians travelling abroad.
