In a bid to highlight the rights of women, the Canadian High Commission launch of roundtable series was focused on women’s rights within the context of Islam. The first in the series brought key civil society experts together to discuss matters of mutual interest between Canada and Pakistan. It is hoped that this sharing of ideas will further cooperation between civil society representatives from both Canada and Pakistan and build close people to people ties.

Minister Day travelled to Saudi Arabia and Jordan to promote Canadian companies as world-class suppliers of quality goods and services.
