Forty-three paintings were recently featured at a charity fundraiser in Damascus. The paintings were made by a diverse group of 20 Iraqi artists who are now living in Damascus and Aleppo.

The Canadian Embassy in Egypt organized a Terry Fox Run that brought in 7000 participants and raised approximately $ 20,000 for the fight against cancer.
