Access to diplomatic parking at the Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport

The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (Office of Protocol) presents its compliments to Their Excellencies the Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Chargés d’Affaires, a.i. accredited to Canada, and has the honour to refer to the attached letter from the Ottawa International Airport Authority concerning planned construction at the airport’s parking facility and subsequent temporary changes to accessing the diplomatic parking area.

The Department wishes to remind Their Excellencies that, as a courtesy to other members of the diplomatic community, the ten spaces allocated for diplomatic parking at the airport are intended for short term use. For overnight or longer term parking, please use the other parking facilities available, or contact the airport for more information at (613) 248-2000.
