This information is generally updated weekly. It indicates the time (in calendar days) it normally takes to process an application after the Office of Protocol receives a complete request. Processing times are subject to change.

Normal processing times: 10–15 working days

Normal processing times: 10–15 working days, starting from the date that the accreditation documents are in order

The Department has a policy of processing all files equitably. It is premature for diplomatic missions, international organizations and other special representative offices to make inquiries with the Office of Protocol concerning the status of the above requests until the normal processing period has lapsed.
