  • Canada is preparing to launch the next phase of the WTO dispute settlement process and is releasing a list of products imported from the United States that may be targeted for possible retaliation.

  • Prime Minister Harper announces the conclusion of negotiations toward a Canada-Nigeria FIPA. The FIPA will give companies the confidence they need to take advantage of growing opportunities in Nigeria.

  • The second round of negotiations toward a Canada-Japan economic partnership agreement (EPA) will be held in Ottawa from April 22 to 26, 2013.
