Personal information collected by Global Affairs Canada is protected from disclosure to unauthorized persons and/or agencies subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act. Individuals have the right to the protection of and access to their personal information and to request corrections where the individual believes there is an error or omission. The information requested will be anonymized, aggregated and analysed by the Department for the purpose of identifying the views and interests of Canadians and Canadian stakeholders on NAFTA, which will help to inform the Government of Canada’s decision on next steps regarding the renegotiation and modernization of the NAFTA with Mexico and the United States. The resulting aggregate data may also be used in public facing reports.
