Citizenship services

Applying for a Canadian citizenship certificate from outside Canada and the United States

The Consulate no longer provides guidance on citizenship applications.

If you are required to submit a paper application, fill out a proof of citizenship application, provide a valid email address on the form and mail your complete application in a sealed envelope to:

If you prefer to drop off your application in person, you are invited to leave your application with the Consular Services between 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Thursday (except office closures).

Please note that the Embassy does not check the completeness of your application. IRCC will contact you directly by email if they need additional information.

Passport services

The consulate headed by the honorary consul in Siem Reap provides limited passport services.

Complete your passport application before booking an appointment by email at siemreap@international.gc.ca to present your documents in person.
