Mylène Paradis, Ambassador of Canada to El Salvador

Message
It’s a true honour—and a personal privilege—to serve as Canada’s Ambassador to El Salvador. This country is an important partner in the Americas, and our relationship continues to grow in meaningful ways.
Since establishing diplomatic ties in 1961, Canada and El Salvador have built a strong and enduring friendship. From Canada’s support for the peace process to the vibrant Salvadoran community that now thrives across Canada, our connection is both historic and deeply human.
Today, our collaboration spans many areas—from migration and regional security to education, clean technology, agriculture, and infrastructure. As El Salvador explores new avenues for growth, we’re excited to work together and explore fresh opportunities that benefit both our countries.
I’m proud to lead a passionate and dedicated team at the Embassy. Whether you’re seeking consular support, exploring partnerships, or simply curious about our work, I invite you to connect with us—online or in person.
We look forward to engaging with you and continuing to strengthen this partnership.
