Citizenship services
Applying for a Canadian citizenship certificate from outside Canada and the United States
The consulate headed by the Honorary Consul in Cape Town does not process citizenship applications
If you are not eligible to submit your proof of citizenship application online, you must complete a paper application and courier it (do not use the post office), along with all required documents, to the following address:

If you prefer to drop-off your application in person, you are invited to leave your application in the Consular Services drop-box located inside the Arcadia Street guard hut entrance of the High Commission of Canada in Pretoria, Monday to Friday from 8am - 12pm (except public holidays)
Passport services
This office does not provide passport services. Kindly contact the High Commission of Canada in Pretoria for information on Canadian passports: pret-consul@international.gc.ca
