Annual Fee and Salary Increases Under Multi-Year Contracts and Contribution Agreements for the Delivery of International Development Assistance

Context

Global Affairs Canada's Policy on Annual Fee and Salary Increases Under Multi-Year Service Contracts and Contribution Agreements for the Delivery of International Development Assistance establishes the parameters for determining the allowable fee and salary increases under these service contracts and contribution agreements.

In accordance with the above policy, the department has verified both the average annual increase of Public Service salaries and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from July 2019 to June 2020.

Directives

In agreements that include the annual fee/salary increases provision, effective August 1st, 2020 and until July 31st, 2021, fees for consultants and personnel of executing agencies and salaries for organizations' employees, in contracts and contribution agreements for the delivery of international development assistance, will be increased by a maximum allowable rate of 1.47%. This rate applies unless otherwise covered by provisions in the Policy on Annual Fee and Salary Increases Under Multi-Year Service Contracts and Contribution Agreements.
