Business delegation to France – Who should participate?
The Trade Commissioner Service is looking for Canadian businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises looking to pursue business opportunities in France, to join the business delegation led by Canada’s Minister of International Trade.
Interested companies will be screened for suitability based on the focus and objectives of the business delegation and expertise and capacity to provide the needed services and/or goods related to the focus sectors in France.
Innovative Canadian organizations with expertise in the following areas are encouraged to participate.
Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Canadian companies working with organizations to integrate artificial intelligence into their production and marketing;
- Centers of expertise and/or academics seeking technological partnerships;
- Canadian universities looking to attract students and researchers to AI-related programs.
Clean technologies
Renewable energy
- Marine energy;
- Solar energy;
- Wind energy;
- Biomass energy.
Wastewater, site and soil remediation
- Water and wastewater treatment;
- Site and soil remediation.
Industrial processes
- Digital transformation;
- Energy efficiency;
- Reduction of GHG emissions;
- Carbon capture and storage;
- Biofuel;
- Green chemistry.
