For the 2019-2020 allocation year, a balance of 101,000 kilograms of cream powders tariff rate quota (TRQ) remains available for allocation under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

The Notice to Importers, Serial #940, dated May 1, 2019, provides information on the application and allocation process for milk under the CPTPP.

Please be advised that the cream powders TRQ is now available to all other eligible applicants for the 2019-2020 TRQ allocation year.

Eligible applicants can receive an allocation of the cream powders TRQ equal to or less than the quantity of cream powders for which they apply, on a first-come, first-served basis.  All allocation policy requirements as provided in the Notice to Importers remain unchanged.

The Export and Import Permits Act and its regulations are available on the Justice Laws website.

The Notice is available on the Global Affairs Canada (the Department) website.

The Department will regularly update and publish on this page the quantity of available cream powders TRQ under the CPTPP.
