3. Global developments related to trade and sustainable development
- Exchange of views on recent global developments shaping trade and sustainable development.
4. Trade and sustainable development – Responsible Business Conduct, Trade and Indigenous Peoples, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) and Trade and Gender
- Update on responsible business conduct, trade and Indigenous Peoples, trade and gender equality, and the implementation of the CETA SME Recommendation
5. Dedicated session on trade and environment and trade and climate action
- Update on respective developments on trade and environment and trade and climate, including:
- Climate policy, energy and industrial transformation.
- Circular economy regulations and initiatives, including raw materials supply and recycling and implications for trade.
- Carbon pricing and border carbon adjustments, such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

6. Dedicated session on trade and labour
- Decent work and promotion of labour standards in trade agreements
- Enhancing Canada and EU cooperation with third countries
- Multilateral engagement such as at the International Labour Organisation (ILO)
- Latest ILO ratifications
7. Discussion on the Work Plan
- The co-chairs will take stock of outcomes from the 2024-2026 work plan and engage in a forward-looking discussion on priorities, format, and approaches for future work planning.
8. Meeting review with Domestic Advisory Groups (DAGs) representatives / Hybrid session with possible remote participation of the DAGs
- Debrief by the Parties from the Trade and Sustainable Development Committee discussions
- Exchange of views between the DAGs chairs and the Parties
