Giant Comic Strip: Stand Up for a Fair World!

Visit the comic strip exhibition organized by the Centre de solidarité internationale du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean (CSI-SLSJ) to raise awareness of international solidarity during International Development Week. For the past few years, the tradition has been to display a giant version of the comic strip in public places throughout the region. The comic strip, Debout pour un monde juste! (Stand Up for a Fair World!), was created by artist Nancy Roberge. Follow Dalie's journey in this comic strip, which invites readers to reflect on major contemporary crises and the renewed importance of international solidarity. It is part of a collective effort to rethink forms of engagement and action in the face of contemporary challenges.

Digital Solidarity Forum

Come and join for those two days of knowledge sharing and brainstorming sessions for members of the Nature and Climate Community of Practice. On February 2, we will begin with climate and nature programming updates and brainstorming sessions focused on key lessons learned from P4C programming. The second part of Day 1 will be co-hosted by the IUCN team managing NAbSA and is restricted to P4C partners. It will take place at the Global Affairs Canada Office. On February 3, Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) will co-host with Global Affairs Canada (GAC) an extended morning of high-level information-sharing panels and follow-up brainstorming discussions focused on how to associate nature-based programming with carbon/nature revenue streams and value-chains, blended finance and private sector partnerships.

Day 2 will end with a knowledge sharing session on Indigenous nature-based solutions programming as well as the formal launch of the GAC-funded report: Working with Knowledge Holders to Advance Inclusive and Equitable Nature and Climate Initiatives.

Discover the Classroom Art Contest. Our 2026 theme is "Colours of the Earth". It invites students to explore the many ways our world expresses itself-through nature, cultures, people, and ideas.

The contest is for kindergarten to grade 12 classrooms in Saskatchewan. It encourages them to reflect on how every color, and every voice, contributes to a vibrant, interconnected world that we all share and care for. Each student will create an artwork reflecting the theme. The class will combine their individual works into one collaborative art piece.

To participate, you must submit a clear photograph of the completed artwork and a 250-word statement explaining its significance.
