D-6: Yugoslavia

Goods exported from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro). Goods exported from the United Nations protected areas of Croatia and from that portion of Bosnia-Hercegovina under Bosnian-Serb control on or after April 27, 1993 are also prohibited entry without an import certificate issued by the Minister.

Note:

On January 23, 1996, the Governor in Council approved an amendment to the Regulations which repealed the import restrictions on goods exported from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro).  Effective January 24, 1996, imports from the Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) no longer need to have import certificates issued under the Regulations to enter Canada.
