Kevin Rex, Ambassador of Canada to Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania
Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Canada to Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. Our Embassy is located in Riga, Latvia and we have Embassy offices in Tallinn, Estonia and Vilnius, Lithuania. I can think of no greater honour than to have the privilege to represent Canada to our friends and allies in the Baltic States.
Canada has built a mature relationship with the Baltic nations since they regained their independence in 1991. Canada, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania share the same values of freedom, democracy and Human Rights. As members of the EU and NATO, the Baltic countries cooperate closely with Canada throughout the world.
As framework nation for NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) battlegroup in Latvia, Canada is working more closely than ever with all three Baltic states. Canada is committed to ensuring a peaceful and stable Europe and we are proud to stand united with our NATO Allies.
Whether you are Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian or Canadian, please use this website to learn more about the services of the Government of Canada and Canada’s relations with the Baltic States. You can also follow the Embassy’s Twitter and Facebook accounts for regular updates on our activities in all three countries.
