Notice:

If you submitted your documents from within Canada, you must wait 25 business days before requesting a status update.

If you submitted your documents from outside Canada, you must wait 35 business days before requesting a status update.

Please note that due to the high volume of enquiries we receive, we can only respond to status update enquiries for requests where these wait times have passed.

If you asked us to forward your documents to an embassy, high commission, or consulate, please check the status of your documents with them first.

If you submitted your documents through a third-party service provider, they must request the status update on your behalf.
