Since 2000, Canada’s NCP has been mandated to review complaints regarding non-observance of the OECD Guidelines. Since 2011, the NCP is required to publish a final statement for all specific instances at the end of the proceedings. The NCP also publishes initial assessments for cases accepted since September 2022.
The OECD also maintains a database of NCP cases
Case tracker
The NCP provides this case tracker to offer general, anonymized information on specific instances currently under consideration. This is intended to enhance transparency around the NCP’s work while respecting confidentiality requirements under the OECD Guidelines. At this early stage, details are limited and do not identify the parties involved. Once an Initial Assessment is completed, or where the NCP proceeds directly to a Final Statement, the case will be reflected in the NCP’s public case list, below, in accordance with its procedures.
