Read the full text of CPTPP, which contains provisions from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, with the exception of some provisions to be suspended upon entry into force.

Chapter summaries

The CPTPP is a short-form treaty that incorporates by reference all of the provisions of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement except those explicitly identified for suspension. This means that all chapters contained in the TPP are part of the CPTPP.

United Kingdom’s Accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership

The United Kingdom’s Accession Protocol was signed at the 7th CPTPP Commission Meeting on July 16, 2023.

The Protocol entered into force for the UK, Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam on December 15, 2024, and for Australia on December 24, 2024.
