Regulation – Order amending the Export Control List
On March 13, 2020, the Government of Canada finalized the regulatory process to amend the Export Control List. This amendment serves to add controls, clarify controls and remove controls over specific items as agreed upon in the various multilateral export control regimes.
The current December 2016 version of ”A Guide To Canada’s Export Control List ” remains in effect until April 30, 2020. On May 1, 2020, the December 2018 version of the “A Guide To Canada’s Export Control List (December 2018)” (Guide) will formally come into effect.
