Complete your citizenship application online. Applications must be submitted by registered mail or dropped off at the Embassy entrance during business hours.

You must pay the Citizenship fees online.
When you finish, you must:

- include it with your application

Notarial services
The Embassy in Brussels provides notarial services to Canadian citizens residing in Belgium or Luxembourg.
Procedure:
Before booking an appointment or mailing your document, send an email to confirm if the service can be provided.
Note: Documents must be in English or French, or accompanied by an official translation in English or French.
Services are provided in person, by appointment only:
- Declaration of civil status
- Witness a signature Sign all documents in front of the consular officer.
- Certified copy (certify the document is a true copy of the original)
- Government-issued identification requiring a certified true copy
Services provided by mail:
- Apostille. Clients requiring information about authenticating documents while outside of Canada, refer to Authentication of documents.
Note: Residents in Canada must be have their document authenticated by Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa.

Consular fees can be paid with the Credit card authorization form.
No cash is accepted.

Passport services
You can pay online for all your passport services before completing your passport application.
Passport applications must be submitted by registered mail or dropped off at the Embassy entrance during business hours.

Passport renewal Payments online (in CAD$)
- 5-year adult passport (age 16 or over) = 190$
- 10-year adult passport (age 16 or over) = 260$
- Child passport (0 to 15 years of age) = 100$
Urgent applications Payments online (in CAD$)
Before paying for any of these services, please contact the Government of Canada office abroad where you will be submitting your application, to confirm your eligibility. Pay these fees only if the Embassy instructs you to.
- Temporary passport (Urgent travel) = 110$
- Temporary passport exchange fee in Canada = 20$
Additional fees Payments online (in CAD$)
- Additional administrative fee for replacing a valid lost or stolen passport = 45$. (You must pay this fee if you report a passport as lost or stolen and are applying for a replacement. This fee does not include the cost of new passport.)
- Certified true copy of one page of a passport (1 to 3 copies) = 45$
- Retention of a valid passport = 45$. (Pay this fee to keep using your current valid passport while we process your replacement)
- Pick-up fee in Canada (exchange in person) = 20$

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) service is not represented in Belgium. The Embassy of Canada in Brussels or consulates accredited in Belgium or Luxembourg are not authorized to provide information concerning visas, permits or immigration to Canada.
