Certificate of mistaken identity

An individual or entity may apply to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for a certificate stating that they are not the person who has been designated pursuant to the Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act (JVCFOA), the United Nations Act (UNA) or to a given regulation of the Special Economic Measures Act (SEMA).

To apply for a Certificate of mistaken identity, complete the form below. Once submitted, Global Affairs Canada will assess the information and contact you directly if additional information is required.
