CUSMA: Butter and Cream Powder TRQ - Serial No. 1018

This Notice to Importers sets out the policies and practices pertaining to the administration of Canada’s tariff rate quota (TRQ) for butter and cream powder under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).

This Notice to Importers is provided pursuant to the authority of the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA) and its corresponding regulations, and remains in effect until further notice.

1. Definitions

Butter means a product that is included in Items 159 to 160 of the Import Control List (ICL), namely butter falling under tariff item Nos. 0405.10.10, 0405.20.10, 0405.90.10, and Cream Powder means a product that is included in Items 119 and 120 of the ICL, namely cream powder falling under tariff item Nos. 0402.21.21 and 0402.29.21 in the list of tariff provisions set out in the Schedule to the Customs Tariff.
